Teeth friendly hot drinks

Hi everyone,

I absolutely love coffee and as a home worker manage to get through many many mugs of my favourite caffeine rich beverage of choice everyday.

But, unfortunately my post covid coffee habit is staining my teeth and I really need to stop this as it's costing me a fortune in private dental treatments to get the stains removed every few months.

What hot drinks would you suggest that aren't bad for staining teeth? I'm not really into sweet stuff so not in to hot chocolate and never managed to find a fruit tea that actually tastes like the fruit pictured on the front of the box.

I did try hot water, fresh lemon and ginger when I had covid which got into my sinuses but that's probably too acidic to be any good for teeth.

Or, should I just give up, drink coffee and brush my teeth after each one 😬

Jasmine silver tips white tea is delicious and definitely has a significant floral taste if you like that. You can also infuse the tea leaves a second time (unlike with coffee grounds).

I use eucryl tooth powder. Shifts any staining
Don't go mental with it and I use it maybe one a month which the dentist said was fine

I love coffee too and would find it harder than anything else to give up.
If you're drinking it alone whilst working at home, why don't you do what some celebrities do and drink it through a straw? That way you're getting to enjoy it but it goes nowhere near your teeth!

The Waterdrop hot drink cubes are surprisingly nice and non staining

Oh, that's a great idea, I've seen folk doing that on podcasts but never thought to do it myself!

I'm away to Amazon to look at those posh cups with built in straws 😀
