Best cut of beef for a small roast?

I love roast beef but never cook it at home because we’re a two-adult household and it’s hard to get a decent joint that’s suitable for a small number of servings.

I’m looking for suggestions of a cut that would serve 3-4 (leftovers!) but feel like a proper roast rather than just a big steak!

Please and thank you.

Best would be fillet but more realistically sirloin.

If you want lovely leftovers I am a big fan of this brisket recipe - yes it says for 12 but I've never had a bit that big and the timings can be vague as you like, it's very forgiving.

Nach Waxman's Beef Brisket recipe

The famous brisket recipe, slow-cooking creates tender slices of braised beef, served with potatoes and vegetables. A great dish for friends and family!
