What are your experiences for Hotel Chocolat

There's currently an offer on to buy a velvetiser. But I thought to also take advantage of a discount on other things such as drinking chocolate and boxes of chocolate. I've looked online but can't find anything that guarantees the length of Best Before. Is it too early to buy chocolates for gifting at Christmas?

I bought my DD a velvetiser and she loves it - but you do need to be really careful with the dates on the chocolate sachets. I would buy in store if you have one locally rather than online. I find all of HC has very short dates as a rule, and the outlets are horrendous for close/out of date products.

I think they would be ok for Christmas but more difficult to say how long beyond Xmas. I bought some selectors recently and different types had very different bb dates, it didn’t matter for me though as I just treated myself for an occasion.
