i’m doing Boxing Day for extended family this year, and because people will be coming on from other places or travelling quite a way, I want to serve ‘forgiving’ food that doesn’t require precision timing
I thought a good big ham and a side of salmon would be good, with plenty of sausages for kids. Can be eaten hot, lukewarm, or cold.
baked potatoes for carbs - easy to microwave for late comers
so the obvious accompaniment would be salads.
i want to be a bit more adventurous than usual. Can anyone point me to tasty, interesting salad/side dishes ?
the whole family objects to raw onion, but apart from that , they are happy to try most things
