'Thank You' wine

I am leaving my position at work soon to move on into another department, in another region.

My current boss is remarkable and has backed and supported me relentlessly since day one, bless his socks.

He drinks Shiraz. I'd like to get him a naice bottle to say thank you but really have no idea when it comes to reds. White is my forte. Red kicks me in the head!

If you have a Waitrose near you their extra special section is always good for present wine. The staff tend to be knowledgeable too if you need advice.

Yes, agree with pp to get some advice on a lovely bottle. Do you have a wine merchant nearby? I never drink Shiraz these days, so can't help with a personal recommendation!

Thank you both, yes I have a Sainsbury's close by but the only wine warehouse really is Majestic.

I'd probably spend up to £30 (which isn't huge but covers a lot, wine wise)
