Is that shredded coconut on the side? I would guess a honey comb perhaps. The chocolate on top looks like a caramel filled bar, whisper gold perhaps? Can you tell us anything about the flavour?

Its a non baked one from what I can see.

Can you remember where it came from and Google the menu/call them?

What's the texture of the bar on top? It looks a bit like a daim bar but maybe too thick to be that.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 01/10/2023 20:13

Possibly a chunk of Mars Bar? Caramel cheesecake?

Farmageddon · 01/10/2023 20:23

The chopped up bits of bar on top look like Crunchie to me - so that would make it a honeycomb flavour. Looks delish, I'm jealous!

The little chocolate on top although gooey caramel inside , it also had a slight crunch..kinda reminded me of a crunchy but its clearly not a crunchy. I didn't get any crunchy like flavour inside the actually cheesecake tho but I could definitely tell it has some sort of bar blended through it. I'm stumped what it could be . He also brought a few bakes which I was able to identify on some popular baking sites . I'd just assumed they'd taken a few of those recipes but no sign of this cheesecake

Is it a chunky caramel kitkat?

theladylovescupcakes · 01/10/2023 22:15

Looks like Butterfinger, it's an American chocolate bar.

LunaNorth · 01/10/2023 22:16

Does the cafe he picked it up at have a website?

Fizzadora · 01/10/2023 22:17

Is it Munchies?

Which baking websites? If you don't mind me asking.

MoonlightDreamer · 01/10/2023 22:39

@BackFromABreak I was able to get recipes for the others on janes patisserie and baking with granny so I assume a recipe for this cheesecake must exist somewhere

Helloooo so I ate a TON of Crunchies during pregnancy and can confirm when a crunchie is broken in half and exposed to the elements the honeycomb absorbs water and becomes gooey. I would also recognise the criss cross pattern on the base of a crunchie anywhere. I can without ANY doubt confirm the choc on top is crunchie.

I also think the yellow marks within the cheesecake is honeycomb too. It has a v subtle flavour so I wouldn’t be surprised if you couldn’t actually taste it within the cheesecake.

Oblomov23 · 01/10/2023 22:51

I don't really understand the question. Surely you know where he bought it from, so can check / return?

sugarplum33 · 02/10/2023 05:50

@Northby Love that this is your moment to showcase your specialist knowledge and experience of the Crunchie Bar 🤣

Garman · 02/10/2023 12:11

Yeah it’s a crunchie. About the only tolerable flavour combo of this “break up chocolate bars to mix into cheesecake” trend instead of actual flavours!

Northby · 02/10/2023 23:55

@sugarplum33 Thank you! I was pleased to finally be able to put my finely tuned skill to good use … 😂
