Red velvet cupcake recipe - which of these two, or neither?

I’ve not made that particular recipe, but I do a lot of baking from Jane’s patisserie and find the cake recipes really reliable (though she and I seem to have an artistic disagreement over required amount of frosting/icing - I only ever use about 50% or less of her amounts)
