Is it worth getting an airfyer

Just confused about wether it is worth buying an airfryer. Are they as good as they are made out to be? Can you really cook a whole meal in it. Is the 2 drawer option better.

Such a useful thread, I'm looking at the ninja too...

Questions:
What's the noise level like?
Smell level?
How easy are the drawers/pans (not sure of the lingo!) to clean?
Does it put out lots of greasy steam from the cooking?

Thank you

No noise, or steam. No smell beyond the norm. Very easy to clean. We’ve got a Ninja two drawer.

We love ours but only at the moment use it for beige food (of which our kids eat a lot) as the drawers look too small for a roast and we haven’t really spent time experimenting with its capabilities. But the beige food cooking in itself is miraculous and saves so much time and faff.

Just got the ninja foodi max dual and it's fantastic! So quick and easy to use, takes a bit of trial and error timings wise but I love it.
