Please share your wheat and lactose free but none desserts. I’m running out of ideas.

On the summery side, but mango sticky rice is uncompromisingly delicious and both dairy and wheat free.

Sorbet
Fruit salad
Eton mess with vegan cream
Cranachan with vegan cream
Flourless chocolate torte

Actually, if eggs are ok, you can take any baking recipe and replace the butter with vegan Stork/vegan baking block, and the flour with Dove free from gluten-free flour mix.

You can get in some gluten-free vegan puff pastry (Jus-Rol makes it) then you can make all sorts, like a free-form fruit galette or apricot and marzipan tart.

And there is gluten free vegan shortcrust too, then you can make any kind of fruit pie or a fruit and frangipane tart (make the frangipane with vegan butter).

amaretti biscuits, poached pears, meringues.

Quince cheese, stuffed dates, chocolate truffles made with very dark chocolate, booze until it threatens to seize and then a teaspoon of honey.

Chocolate mouse? The proper stuff made the french way is just egg white, dark chocolate so dairy free, sugar and a tiny squeeze of lemon juice to stabilise the eggs during whipping. Google for the Raymond Blanc recipe.

Nigella has a wicked clementine cake, it's really easy too

BaronessBomburst · 29/09/2023 18:59

Santiago cake. You can add almond essence and a tablespoon of cocoa powder instead of lemon rind to make a wonderful chocolate version. (and brush the bottom with melted 90% chocolate!)
Lots of recipes for it online. I can't share mine as I do it from my head, sorry.

Figs roasted with honey and topped with toasted almonds. Serve with dairy free cream/ice cream.

Crumbles with gluten free oats. Meringues with fruit etc.

Have you looked at Becky Excells website, everything is GF and she usually gives a dairy free version as well.

And pancakes. Make with GF flour and non dairy milk. Serve with bananas and toffee sauce.

I make brownies. I've cut the recipe down and make this in a loaf tin as there's just me and DH and they are very rich, so a little peice is pretty satisfying

2 eggs
50g sugar (I use coconut sugar to make myself feel healthy, but light brown or even caster sugar would work)
70g 70% chocolate
30g coconut oil
60g ground almonds
30g cacao powder
Vanilla extract, pinch of salt and a sprinkle baking powder.
A tablespoon or two df milk to loosen, if too thick

Melt choc and coconut oil
Beat eggs and sugar
Add choc mix to egg mix
Add everything else

Stir in choc chips, chopped nuts, whatever your heart desires if you want.

Bake at 170 for 12-15 mins until firm on outside but squidgy inside
