Doesn't need to be curry, anything would do

i think using a ready made sauce somewhat defeats the object of a slow cooker.

what about a really simple home-made sauce like https://thebatchlady.com/recipe/chicken-and-spinach-balti/

The powdered seasonings like Schwartz and Coleman's work best as you can add less liquid to stop it being watery. Homepride and Schwartz do a range which is specifically for slow cookers but any of the packets work really if you use less liquid/tomatoes.

When I broke my wrist and was relying on my slow cooker and convenience products my favourite was just whole chicken breasts plonked in the slow cooker with a jar of salsa poured over. You can have it as it is or shred to have in wraps etc. What I did though was leave them whole and once cooked top with grated cheese and jalapeno and served with potato wedges and sour cream and guacamole. Far tastier than it sounds and now I've mentioned it I think I'll be having it on Monday 😋.

I'd really recommend checking out Bored of Lunch and Taming twins on Instagram or Tiktok as they have so many simple slow cooker ideas.
