Children’s vitamins and UPF

I need to get some more vitamins for my children. They ran out a week or so ago, and have been slow to replace as the ones they were taking really looked very junky!

I’m trying to get as much UPF out of our lives as possible (not necessarily succeeding!!). But they do need vitamins.

Can anyone recommend really good children’s ones? That contain everything they need (vit d, b12, maybe iron, omega 3 etc etc) but aren’t so full of junky ingredients?

You don't say how old your children are, but I use Abidec for my 2 year old, and the dosing instructions go up to 12, so could that be an option? It's not a flavoured sugar syrup or gummie, like the ones marketed at older children seem to be - admittedly it tastes gross, but I think that's a sign of it being less flavoured by rubbish, and my little one has never objected to the taste. They'll inevitably be some kind of processing in whatever you use, but agree that minimising it as much as we can is the right approach

Oh sorry! Age 7 and up! They would object to gross though!

I think with vits they’re so small the amount of UPF is negligible. I’d rather Dd had a vitamin she will happily take because they’re tasty rather than having to fight her on it.

I get Chewy Vites multi-vit + probiotics from Amazon. They are delicious!
