do you drizzle before freezing, after freezing or both?

Got some limes to use up so making a drizzle cake for DS's birthday (his favourite). but need to freeze it for a few weeks.

I did before, and it was delicious.
I also think that cut slices of LDC - or most cakes -freeze really well, as long as you wrap them adequately.

Thank you. Yes I've frozen slices of leftover cake before but in the first instance I want this one whole. Just couldn't decide if it would be better drizzled once defrosted.

No, definitely better drizzled when fresh out the oven and still warm, so it soaks in.

I just drizzle before, let it soak and freeze, as good as fresh.

Like PPs
Bake Drizzle straight out of oven.
Allow to cool
Cut into Slices
Wrap them well freeze ans defrost. It will be lovely!
