Entertaining teenagers

Got 6 teenage boys coming this weekend. What can I feed them that will be popular?

not burgers as did that last time. Think one or two are a bit fussy so something safe! Please let me know what your teenagers love when they have friends over

I don't think you can go wrong with pizza! Few different toppings etc, some garlic bread... maybe a couple of trays of nachos with toppings?11

Mine always pick pizza when their friends are round, or hotdogs (and veggie hotdogs) go down a treat.

I don't think teenage boys will care about the quality of the pizza to be honest, they will just want volume. if I haven't time to make my own pizza, I often add extra toppings to shop bought (sliced mushrooms, onions, chorizo, extra cheese).
The sausage rolls are a great idea. Alternatively, make hotdogs with decent sausages, or chunky fishfingers in hotdog rolls.
Chicken wings or drumsticks.
Potato wedges are easy, cheap and filling.
Some bowls of cherry tomatoes and cucumber sticks.

Another vote for hotdogs with wedges. Roasted corn on the cob alongside. Pan of fried onions.

Or fajitas.

I always did one tray of pizzas, one tray of beige crap (chips, nuggets, sausage rolls etc) and one tray of nachos. Although, as I recall, my boys and their mates would have eaten just about anything when they were teenagers 😂

My 19 yo had mates round over the summer and I variously cooked chilli lime fish w rice, chicken souvlaki and tacos and every time I thought I’d massively over catered there wasn’t a crumb left!

Pizza or chilli/fajitas/nachos here. I have a teenager that won't eat sausages or fish fingers (never has done).

I don't think teenagers really care if you've done something before, they just want food! But if you really don't want to repeat the burgers, I always did tacos and nachos - but let them build their own tacos as we had a fussy eater. So I'd do a ton of wraps, grated cheese, salsa, hot sauce, lettuce and then slice up cooked chicken breast or fish goujons. Let them wire in themselves.

As above but with slow cooker pulled pork and separately stir fried veggies

Thanks everyone. I think you’re right and the best thing is to do a spread so will do some pizzas and hot dogs with wedges or nachos on the side. And note taken regarding quantity being the most important!
