So whats the point of booking an internet shop for 11 if it arrives before 10 with half the stuff missing?

And then the helpline just says she'll'get back to us'?

Last time they just refunded- which is rather absurd because if I could get to the blardy shop I wouldn't pay £4.50 for delivery would I? And certainly not pay to have half delivered then have to drag Dh and kids over to the shop (not walking distance, so petrol etc) to do the rest?

bah.

Whinge over. Just lucky school annoyed me so I skipped the coffee morning I guess, else there'd be nobody here (well Dh but he works nights and is asleep) to have let chap deliver.

we can never book a precise time like 11, it's usually btw 10 - 12. Which shop was it?

Peachy · 04/03/2008 10:33

Well, it was 11 -1, which was when it was due, so I assume I need to be here from 11.

tesco- disclaimer: Waitrose don't deliver here LOL

I hate it when this happens I ordered bananas the other day and because they didn't have the ones I wanted they didn't even substitute! Did they not have any other bananas in the whole shop?

Peachy · 04/03/2008 10:39

It wasn't even a substituation / run out problem- we've been charged for loads of it- its just not there!

11 items paid for but missing, which is a fair bit really- and important things like wipes (have a 4.5 year old in nappies so cotton woll not an option I like)

Actually they phoned as I was typing- driver ahd taken them back to shop. Why????

grr how annoying.

Every time I do an order I end up returning items. Bananas that look like they have seen better years never mind days, mouldy bread and out of date yoghurt. Last week a box of eggs was crushed.

And don't get me started on so called "bagless" deliveries I had over 30 one day. I would give up but it is still easier than dragging DD around for 2 hours when we could be playing on my day off.
