18 month old suddenly went from loving everything to being very picky. Doesn't help he is teething and constant nursery bugs. Need some inspo for simple meals he could love?

My DS loved this fish pie www.heinzbaby.co.uk/sevenmonths/recipe/cheesy-fish-pie/1002022050060
It only makes enough for one though. I sometimes use to make it in bigger quantities for meals and use fish pie mix instead of just cod. I preferred it with added dill in the sauce, but DS wasn’t bothered - he’d eat it either way!

Honestly it's boring but plain pasta with some butter and a sprinkle of cheese is a winner for every small human I've ever looked after.

Cheesy tomato sausage pasta bake.

Sausages chopped and fried, add garlic, onion, passata. Mix in pasta and put into dish.

Make cheese sauce, pour over the pasta sausage mix.

Bake.

Sometimes I add peas and sweetcorn, or serve those with it.

My DD is clearly odd but she won't touch pasta at all!

Watching with interest.

Mine mostly likes pasta (sometimes with tomato and pepper sauce) sweet potato vege tots (they are made of mashed sweet potato, carrot, cheese and breadcrumbs) and mini egg muffins (with egg, carrot, cheese and cottage cheese). I am struggling to find much protein she will eat.

Spag Bol (sometimes gnocchi instead of spag), Mac and cheese, tuna and cheese toastie, salmon fishcakes. I put spinach in all of the above to cancel out the stodge a little as it doesn't really taste of anything so can be snuck in!
