I have a couple coming for for food this weekend. They are rather fussy eaters, so my plan was to do a Sunday Roast, as I know that's an easy win that they like (as long as it's pork, chicken, turkey or well done beef).
But it's going to be 30 degrees! So I neither fancy cooking nor eating a full roast dinner.
We have a rotisserie on the BBQ, so rotisserie pork loin cooked outdoors seems like a good hot weather equivalent of a roast. But what side dishes would be nice to go with it? I'd like something special, but it can't be different or massively out there as they are both pretty fussy.
We'll be eating outside in the garden.
The rotisserie takes up most of the BBQ, but I did think maybe we could fit some corn on the cob on?
What else would you serve with it? New potatoes? Or some other kind of potato dish? Another couple of vegetable sides?
Or would you just do salad, bread, potato salad etc?
