Please quick help frozen pork shoulder

It’s 1.138 kg (2.4lbs) it’s frozen I was going to do it for tea tonight, but everything seems to be suggesting 10hour cooking times which can’t be right. Do I do it low & slow? In now for 6pm dinner? It has a rind, I’m not that fussed about crackling, so I suppose that doesn’t matter too much?

any thoughts about temps and times welcome?

I know you aren’t really meant to but I have defrosted meat in water and lived to tell the tale! Just make sure it’s cooked properly, seeing as it’s pork I assume it will be cooked all the way through.

That hadn’t occurred to me. All the timings seem to be really long for pork, I didn’t think this through!
not sure whether to cover or add water or wine.
