We love scallops but I've never cooked them before so would love some recipe ideas please 😊

I like them in a creamy sauce with pasta. Just garlic, scallops (if large, cut in half to make two thinner discs) and cream. You can jazz it up by adding saffron to the cream before the sauce is cooked or quartered baby plum tomatoes after.

Just sear them in oil and butter and eat them - and don't throw the roe away, it's the best bit!

Wrap in phyllo pastry and bake for about 15 minutes and serve with bernaise sauce.

Pan fry in butter until golden, maybe with smoked bacon, chorizo or black pudding. But freshly dived scallops (not the poor pre-packaged supermarket ones) are delicious enough to eat all on their own.
