My 11mo will not eat pasta or rice but have just found out he loves cous cous 😁 he's on soya formula for milk allergy so really need dairy free recipes. Just one thing, I'm not a good cook so please nothing too difficult 🤣 really appreciate any replies. Thanks

Thanks for that, I use plant based butter anyway so won't have to worry about trying to figure out how much. Told you, I'm a terrible cook😄 will definitely give it a go as he loves his sweet potato

Mix half a teaspoon of dairy free pesto in? My LO loves that. Tesco has cheap dairy free pesto in the Free From aisle. They do red and green so you can get some variety and a jar can last a while.

Also just checking, because it's very unusual for a baby to be prescribed soya formula, you do know you can get formula for milk allergy from the GP for free on prescription, don't you? We were on our second tin of Wysoy before we found that out, saved us a ton of money! The one we got was called Nutramigen.

Yeah I switched him to soya myself at first and then when saw doctor he started prescribing it for me. I know what you mean though, the soya formula is ridiculously expensive. Id thought about soya formula when I was pregnant as I've got dairy intolerance, not as bad as baby but only drink soya myself which I wonder if that made it so little ones body couldn't accept cows milk
