Galaxy enchanted eggs

Have just found a load of bags of Galaxy Enchanted Eggs which I bought online this Easter after becoming obsessed with them.

Haven’t ate them all but they have a gold coating on them and a use by date of September this year. More than 10 bags left which I cannot eat them all.

Could I melt down and use in eg chocolate mousse/a cake? Wondering about the metallic finish.

I love these eggs!!!! Totally understand your obsession.

I would expect them to be fine beyond the end of Sept, so if you reckon you'll eat them all by say end of Nov, I wouldn't worry.

I dont think they would be very nice in a mousse, but am sure they would work in a choc refrigerator cake... but you will lose the magic!!

Freeze them, I always freeze leftover Easter eggs and then use them throughout the year for baking, decorating, melting, snacking!
