I’ve discovered we still have a container of Chocolate Orange flavoured drinking chocolate that I bought last Christmas from Sainsbury’s and I wondered if it would be ok to use for baking? We don’t really drink much hot choc since it’s mostly full.

Do you think it would work in muffins or cakes maybe?

Check the ingredients, it'll be part cocoa part sugar part milk. If it doesn't state cocoa percentage then you can read the sugar amount directly from the carbs/sugars report, then derive roughly how much cocoa there actually is in there by whether it's before or after sugar on the ingredients list. Remember to adjust sugar levels in your recipe to suit.
The orange flavour might not survive baking temperatures, depending what it actually is.
