Timing for two fruit loaves

Hi. Just wondered if anyone could tell me how to work out the timing for two 1 lb fruit loaves (bara briths) as opposed to one 2 lb which is what the recipe states. Hairy Bikers say one and a half hours but as I'm dividing them into two would it take so long? Ages since I've baked. I'm going to keep one (so I can sample it!) and give the other to a friend so I'd like to get it right. I have a fan oven.

Thanks for your help.

How did it work out @bananaskin123?

Soaked the fruit overnight and plan on cooking it this afternoon. I'll keep and eye on it at half time baking! Thanks for asking.

No problem. I love Bara Brith, any chance you could send a slice around? Grin

I'd turn the temp down a little bit and test after half the time. You'll probably need a bit longer but ovens may vary just like recollections
