I'm making a pasta sauce with bacon, garlic, courgettes, onions, mushrooms and craime fraiche and would either like to bung a portion in the freezer for my little one, or give it to her on Saturday night (today is Thursday!) as I already have food for her tomorrow.

What would you do??

I don't know, because you won't be able to heat it up to boiling point because of the cream, will you? (which you should do if reserving food from a couple of days ago, or which has been in the freezer)

I think I would not do it, sorry

It's fine to boil - it's simmering away very nicely at the mo

oh, really? it doesn't separate or whatever?

if you can boil it I would keep in fridge and serve it again on Sat but don't know if this is a sensible thing to do. I don't understand meat food, for a start.

It should freeze OK, as it's creme fraiche it doesn't separate or curdle. Freezes OK as well.
I do the same sauce, but with a tin of cherry tomatoes and some oregano w/o the cream. Trying to encourage DS to eat veg!!!
