I've rediscovered a love of wraps. I need some inspiration

What's your favourite wrap fillings?

Falafel, humous/tahini and veg
Coronation chicken

Mozzarella sun dried tomato rocket and pesto mayonnaise. Increasingly made at home since Waitrose now charge the earth for them.

Cream cheese,red pepper,salad and sweet chilli sauce

Cheese/Chicken salad

Spinach with finely diced red onion and cucumber as the base, then add some chopped tandoori chicken fillets, a couple of dollops of mango chutney and a drizzle of raita. Elite!

Chicken mayo cheese and spinach 🤤
Toasted chicken and cheese

falafel, hummus, beetroot (not pickled) and salad
feta, olives, tomato, cucumber and rocket with a bit of pesto

Peppers, onions and cheese. Sometimes add mushrooms. Cooked, not raw and done so the cheese is melted over the veg in case that’s not obvious. With those pickled chillis you get in jars.

Rice, beans, cheese, salsa and jalapeños

Beef and blue cheese with a peppery green like rocket or watercress

Onion bahji, lettuce, lime pickle and raita

Buffalo chicken or cauliflower, lettuce, cucumber and blue cheese dressing

These sounds yummy, thanks will give them a try

Fish fingers, finely chopped gherkin,
iceberg lettuce & mayo

Cheese savoury - grated cheddar, grated carrot, grated red onion and Salad Cream.

You needs something creamy, something crunchy and something sweet/tangy

So avocado, cos lettuce and red onion pickle
Hummous, grated carrot and roasted peppers

Smoked houmus, chilli beetroot, avocado & red pepper. Lots of salt & pepper. Delicious!

I honestly do not work for the company but crimp it now do a wrap sealer thing and it is fab! I have done ordinary cheese and ham ones and also tried a gyros type one and it was amazing. Just heated it up in a hot pan or my air fryer and done!

Salmon baked with paprika, pineapple/mango, guacamole, tomato, hot sauce

Halloumi, tomatoes, humous, salad

Mushrooms or quorn pierces in some sort of Mexican-style sauce, rice, refried beans, hot sauce, guacamole, sour cream, nacho cheese sauce

Anything with fish goujons is good too

🌯I have 2...

1. Chicken tikka, mint yogurt and shredded lettuce bit of cucumber

2.Hummous, grated carrot, falafel and a big squeeze of lemon juice

I like the above in hot pitta too😋

A place I worked years ago had a little cafe next door.

Falafel, humous, salad and optional jalapeños. They'd wrap it, then press it lightly in a sandwich press thing till the edges were crispy and the inside just warm. 😋

-Black bean, roasted sweet potato and spring onion smushed up, with green leaves eg spinach, lettuce, rocket.

• roast courgettes, red onion, pepper with smoked tofu and green leaves.

-refried pinto beans, sliced tomatoes (drained and patted dry) corriander, avocado mixed with lime and garlic; spring onion

• airfried sliced firm tofu marinaded in soy, liquid smoke and maple syrup with lettuce, tomato and puréed soaked cashews

-hummus, falafel, chutney, green leaves -shredded red cabbage, apple, carrott marinaded in miso, lime juice, bit of sugar, then drained; with peanut butter. -broken up onion bhaji, mango chutney mixed with a bit of coconut cream and lime juice, smashed chick peas and leaves

More ideas! All of them sound fab! And the idea of a pitta bread is good too- I can warm them in a microwave at work 😋
