Yeo Valley Milk Cartons Recycling

Does anybody know whether these new cardboardy cartons go in the paper and card bin or the plastics bin. They say they are using 70% less plastic which would suggest that some of it is still plastic.

I have tried googling but haven't been able to get a proper answer.

Definitely doesn't seem go in plastics as says this:
The carton is made only of 100% renewable plant-based materials; FSC natural brown board and plant-based cap, helping us to reduce the carbon footprint of our packaging.
But I've no idea where the 30% plastic is if they're 100% plant based. Maybe the packaging to get it to the supermarket is plastic? I'd put it in with card though.

I would email your council recycling team. They look like juice/soya milk cartons which can go in our general recycling bin (we don't separate plastic and card) but my council were able to tell me that they were recyclable. Our council website also has photos and lists of what should go in each bin.

Their website says 'the new carton uses 70% less plastic vs our previous 1L bottle' which maybe means it is plastic, just less of it. As I understand it's recycled with Tetra packs. Our council collects these but you'd have to check with yours.

Thanks for replies. Our council doesn't respond to emails they are far too busy to bother with us.

What does the website say about recycling tetrapak type containers?
