Reading another thread about air fryers got me thinking everyone is saying how they cook in theirs but there's no recipes!

I'll start! My teens current favourite Air Fryer recipe is

Nutella wraps. Smother a wrap in Nutella, fold the wrap up, then slice into equal portions, dip in beaten egg and air fry for 6-7 mins

Pizza roll wraps - put tomato purée on a wrap, slices of ham, grated cheese, fold up and air fry for 6-7mins

Ooh, I will join. Banana muffins are popular here:

100g self raising flour (or mix self raising flour with some oats, wholemeal flour etc to make 100g but then add some baking powder).
One egg
One mashed banana
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tbsp syrup
1-2 tsp oil
Fold in a few sliced nuts etc if you like.

Mix all together, place in buttered ramekins/silicone muffin trays and cook for 11-13 minutes at 180.

They are not the sort of muffins that you want to make a big batch of but great for a quick snack or breakfast. Makes 3 BIG ones or 4 normal sized ones.

Lazy roast potatoes are a fave here

Tinned new potatoes rinsed and patted dry.

mix in a bowl with a splash of oil and whatever flavouring you want.

faves here are garlic & herbs or smoked paprika.

Into a heated AF at 190 for 22 minutes. No shaking midway for best crispness.

Fajitas

350g cut up chicken breast
Red pepper cut into strips
Sliced red onion
Sliced white onion
splash oil
splash soy sauce
spices - smoked paprika/chilli/cayenne

All in the basket together. 180 for 10 minutes, shaking a few times, then turn up to 205 for 4 minutes

During final four minutes heat plates/tortillas and get cheese/guacamole/sour cream/salsa out of the fridge.

Eat.

I'll be trying the ones posted so far! I've not been very adventurous with mine so far. It's all very beige what we've used it for!

I did roast some carrots in rosemary the other week and they were delicious.

No specific recipes, because it's a small oven that cooks anything that an oven can do, but more quickly & much more cheaply.
