Am excited to be living in the vicinity of an M&S Simply Food! Everything in the in-house bakery looks so delicious. What should I try first?

Actually ate this for breakfast. And just now after lunch. And going to have some more with tea later... On par with their bakery pecan & cranberry loaf 💗

Our local one takes any leftover bread, slices it and makes garlic bread out of it. They then freeze it and sell it the next day. We call it magic garlic bread in our house!

They do a cinnamon bun but it's like a moist pastry, holy moly are they delicious!

If you like Marmite they do Marmite and cheese rolls that are fantastic.

DH is obsessed with pecan and cranberry bread (but I find it too heavy) but we all really like the onion & tomato focaccia and the cheddar/red leicester bread. Choc-chip shortbread also good (does having "bread" in the name mean it counts?)

But very jealous of @beguilingeyes as I have never seen marmite & cheese rolls at ours - loved their marmite & cheese hot cross buns last year, couldn't believe they didn't do them this year.

I think that's the black treacle - it's one of the reasons I like it!

We don't live that close to one which is probably good for my finances.
I'd buy one of everything to sample if I were you.
I love the garlic bread, croissants, white chocolate cookies, pretzels.
Some of the recommendations I've never tried so I think a trip is due for us.
