I made a courgette and Brie soup yesterday and it was lovely

I've never really made soup before so I'm looking for inspiration, do you have a particular favourite?

Fresh green veg with pesto
Golden soup (all the yellow and orange veg (carrots, yellow peppers, sweetcorn etc) with turmeric, lemon and ginger
Spiced lentil and bacon

A nice chicken noodle soup is good too.
