friend coming round for lunch today.

I have a good spice cabinet and lots of herbs in the garden. Found a few nice recipes online but all require a trip to Waitrose or the deli nearby for a random ingredient.

I have a small baby and I’m short on time. I have a small Tesco metro and a small Sainsbury’s local 5 minutes away so hoping to grab something from there.

heading out in 10 minutes, friend coming over at 1. Don’t have time for a lovely long cook like daal unfortunately :(((

Boring but falafel and salad or jacket potato with a topping.

What about a vegetable soup, bread and some salad/olives/etc?

How about a burrito with a quick bean chilli, avo, salsa, salad and rice.

I would go for soup and a wrap with hummus, salad and maybe falafel

If I was a friend coming round to visit someone with a small baby, i wouldn’t expect them to provide a meal for me. In fact I would be offering to bring lunch for both of us to help you out!
