Best supermarket Madeira cake

Has anyone had one that isn't dry? For various reasons I'm going to buy shop bought rectangular cake and shape it, half it, fill with jam and ice it. Just looking to know which supermarket is best to buy it from. Well aware that home made is much nicer but it's more for looks than taste in this instance! TIA

Have you had any luck with this @MrsLRT?

My dad got me a madeira one from Aldi last year that was quite nice, I was surprised.

Madeira cake is supposed to be dry because you were meant to dunk it in your Madeira wine, hence the name.
