Favourite vegan gluten free cake?

I need to make a regular Victoria sponge and was hoping to do second one for the milk/gluten/vegan members of a group, but now I'm wondering if I should make the second cake something that isn't trying to be like the first, just in case it doesn't compare well.

Any suggestions?

Carrot cake is my absolute fave but Mary berry’s crunchy lemon topped loaf is delicious and works well with GF flour.

When I first tried vegan baking, I was a bit wary it might be a bit dry and 'worthy' (Entirely my ignorance! Have since been been proved wrong many times over).

This cake is melt-in-the-mouth delicious. Still my go-to in summer.

You could embellish, but I think it's perfect as it is.

Vegan Semolina Cake

Vegan semolina cake - this delicious eggless semolina cake can be made plain or flavoured with orange and/or lemon. It is perfectly moist & delicious.

Vegan gluten free can be tricky to substitute these in so I wouldn't use any of the above vegan cakes with gluten free flours without trying it first.

Vegan gf is tricky imo as gf flours often need a bit more liquid but vegan recipes won't have egg or milk. I've never tired vegan gf sponge, I would imagine it might be a bit dry. Gf cakes with oil are usually best. I would do something different - I've done gf carrot cake with flax egg, and a sticky gf chocolate cake. If I can find the links I'll put them below.

I can’t believe I missed that it needed to be vegan -sorry.

Thank you all - I'm edging all my bets trying to do gluten free as well, but there are some great recipes, thank you.

Ah, apologies! I missed the gluten and dairy-free requirement you asked for.
