I used M&S last year for a sandwich platter and will use them again this year for an afternoon tea I'm arranging.

We had Morrisons ones and they were good. Although a friend got some from Costco and they were really good.

Thanks Coastal and storm! I wondered if anyone would mention Costco, am not a member unfortunately. Forgot to add, I'm also interested in hearing about quiche platters too...

Think Morrisons do some but they are quite large, is it mini bites you want?

justanothernamechangemonday · 22/07/2023 17:02

Friend of mine had some from Costco and they were fab!!!

Overthebow · 22/07/2023 17:04

Definitely Costco, way better than the supermarket ones I’ve had.

geoger · 22/07/2023 17:06

Costco ones are fab and they do ones with wraps etc

Whataretheodds · 22/07/2023 17:07

We also had really good ones from Costco! M&S were decent.

You can join Costco as an online customer only which is cheaper. Morrisons are good too and M&S.

For a quiche platter, I don't know of any off hand. Couldn't you just buy a few regular quiche, cut them up yourself, and put onto a platter? Would surely be cheaper too!

Goodwitch9 · 22/07/2023 17:55

Ooh I didn't know that about Costco, thank you CC!

Know you asked about supermarkets but do you have local sandwich shops who do them? Just seen our local one advertise them and they look brilliant and fresh, prob cheaper too

I just ordered some platters from Morrisons for a birthday party. Ordering was easy & so was collection. Packaging was really good. Food looked fine but tasted awful, couldn't even tell what the sandwich fillers were, just like a mushed up spread. Luckily had made some of my own food as a lot of the platters food got left.Had these before at a party & they were fine but won't be ordering again from Morrisons.

M&S all the way! Sainsbury's do really nice platters in their Food to Order range as well
