So who's going to win Masterchef then?

My guess is that James will win, with Emily a close second

wow - bonkers wedding challenge... I don't think I've ever like Masterchef finalists as much as these 3. I hope they all do well out of it.

It was just incredible. I agree I've never got so attached to the finalists before - who else cried when James got his praise from the Michelin chefs

For once I agree with John and Greg - it must be really hard to choose one of the three.
Buuuut - while I admire Emily, she hasn't done amazingly in the last week. Doesn't seem to be able to carry things through without help. I'm torn between thinking we should make allowances for her age, and thinking, hell, she's got plenty of time to learn these things.
James should win I think. But I'm partly thinking that because he's given up his job and has a small child.
But then, Johnny is a single father and really really wants this.
Oh buggery crap. I would make the worst judge.

Hmm how to describe - itt looked a bit like the front of the dress from a distance but on a close up it was like cascading tiers of flowers with I think a cherub or two in there, all sculpted from icing but looked like crushed silk - ivory/ yellowy/ creamy beige colour...

agree bonkerz BUT I think they'll mark her down on the fact she seems to always needs help - not a bad thing in my book, I would hide under the table and sob if that was asked from me

It looked like a Choccywoccydoodah cake - mad-looking and madly expensive!
I'd love Emily to win - she's absolutely amazing. But I agree that I think James will win.
How incredible to get so much praise from so many Michelin-starred chefs! I wonder if any of them offered Emily or James a job?

That's what impresses me the most about Emily, she owns her mistakes and her feelings, accepts help and is eager to learn - can't understand how an 18year old gets to that level of maturity with that amount of natural talent...she blows me away.

However, I still don't want her to win because she'll be barricading the doors to job offers at any rate I think. Or maybe they all will, in which case........

There's something about Emily that irritates me but I can't work out what it is.

I think it's a pity they are going to cook in France for the final.
