I got some fresh breaded lemon dover sole and then put it in the freezer.Do I need to defrost it before cooking and what is the best way to cook it.

I'm often buy ready breaded white fish. Now cook it in the air fryer but previously would have put on a lightly oiled baking tray in a preheated oven (about 190 fan). Takes about 15 mins for cod but a flatter fish would take much less.

You could also shallow fry but I can't ventilate enough for that.

I would defrost before cooking. It'll be lovely with some green veg and baby potatoes.

You can do either, personally I put it in the halogen oven (old style airfryer!) as it doesn't smell as much as frying, oven would do either. I never bother thawing it first as it's so quick to cook anyway.

It's fine to just bung in the oven from frozen. They will take a few minutes longer, that's all.
