Weekend cooking

Hello :)

I'm looking for some ideas on what to cook for my family of 3 during the weekend (DH and 2 Y/O DS) no dietary requirements. Just bored of getting a disappointing takeaway every Saturday when I much prefer chippie on a Friday!

On my menu plan for this weekend is Indian spiced fishcakes with cumin roasted cauliflower, and a green salad.
Lemon, garlic and herb marinated, butterflied chicken breasts cooked on the bbq, apple slaw, salad flatbreads.
Nduja spaghetti with cherry tomatoes.

For me weekend cooking is normally more indulgent and time consuming than weekdays where speed to table and healthy balanced meals are the priority. Is that what you're looking for?

Buy pizza dough and choose your own toppings
Lasagne
Curry with all the trimmings
Burgers with roasted corn on the cob
Halloumi kebabs

Corned beef hash
Fish cakes
Fish finger wraps
Chicken pie
Savoury pancakes
Sausage and mash
Chop, egg and chips
There are literally millions of dishes to choose from.

We were meant to be having slow cooker pulled pork in wraps with salad/cole slaw and chips tonight and tomorrow - but I think it's only going to last 1 night (small joint and one of the dc has a friend over).

Thinking of doing something like chicken souvlaki in wraps with salad/tzatziki and chips for dinner tomorrow.

Not sure about Sunday yet, but probably something simple that can last us 2 nights, so either a tarka dal or the kids really like this lentil soup:
