Hi I have never made scones before. Does anyone have a full proof recipe and method please?

I take it they are actually easy to make?

Would the air fryer be ok, or oven better?

Not what you’re asking for, but the Greek yogurt and raising flour scones are great in the air fryer. You could make them by adding cheese. You just mix it to a thick batter consistency and Chuck them in for about 8 minutes.

I've found the BBC Food cheese scone recipe to be good. Also used the same recipe in the airfryer - you are just more limited with space.

Are they nice? What temperature please?

You can add anything to the basic two ingredient recipe. I usually put a bit of sugar in as I just like mine with butter, if I was putting jam on I probably wouldn’t bother. But I’ve put past it’s best blueberries in before now.
I think I set it at 180 and just keep checking them until they’re cooked.
