Urgent! Chicken/pesto/tomato pasta recipe needed to start cooking now!

Hi all,

Would any of you lovely ladies know of a very quick recipe?

I have no cream but I do have bacon.

I need to serve at 5.40 😬.

Just make a chicken risotto

I would just dice and fry the chicken then add tomato sauce and simmer for a little while and serve with cooked pasta.

Cook chicken. Cook pasta. Slice the tomatoes (or halve them if they're cherry) and add to drained cooked pasta, stir in pesto, dice the chicken and stir it in. Serve.
That's what I'd do with those ingredients.

Tomatoes or tomato sauce?

Chuck the chicken in a pan with bacon (and toms if you have them). Add pesto at the end and stir through pasta.

Or do the same but use tomato sauce not pesto.

I'd do pretty much the same.

She's asking for a chicken pesto pasta dish. Why have you suggested risotto

Bake chicken coated in pesto in the oven and roast tomatoes.
Cook pasta.
Drain pasta.
Chop up chicken, then stir all above ingredients into pasta, if you have some fresh basil add that, if you have any Philadelphia then add a couple of spoons of that.
Mix and serve with garlic bread and salad.

Google 'pollo pesto' .. pizza express do a nice one. But instead of faffing with white sauce use creme fraiche or soft cheese like philadelphia

OR: chicken + bacon ... caesar salad

Good news is she is okay now - and I also have some great ideas which I will try tomorrow night.
