Friend, lives by herself says it’s best thing she’s purchased this year recommends I should get one, there is 4 of us. DH eats quite ‘clean’ most of the time, ds can be a bit picky. Are they worth it, how much food can you cook in it? I’m not the greatest at cooking. I don’t know if I’d be overwhelmed by it.

I have two drawer one, and it's used all the time. At weekends, I batch cook, bake etc and use gas oven. During week, if (every night term time) husband cooks, he heats up something I've cooked and then frozen - lasagne, pie, fish cakes etc. Two or three fish cakes in each drawer. Lasagnes I make in lidded pyrex dishes that fit the air fryer and freeze. One of them feeds two or three adults (I have small appetite) but you'd probably use two drawers for two good servings. If they're defrosted, they take about 20 mins to cook through - much longer in gas oven that has to heat up. Most things we eat take about 20-30 mins. Baked potatoes about half an hour if microwaved first.

If I cook during the week, I tend to make something on the hob, so I don't use it much. I tried making naan breads in it - much quicker in a couple of frying pans. Croutons quicker and easier than in a pan. Heating up leftover pizza or pie - as quick as microwave and much nicer.

Depends on how much you usually use your oven. During school holidays, I cook for everyone and rarely use it. Term time, it's used every evening.

Coming in a month late to this but I have the same quandary. Big family cooking large portions, but also sometimes one teen cooking for herself in the middle of the afternoon!

Which one should I get? I want to get a Ninja as everyone keeps raving about them but I can't decide between the biggest two - can anyone advise pls?
