Anyone have a simple yoghurt dip recipe?

I’ve got some natural yoghurt that needs using (well, it’s actually 4 days out of date, unopened, it will still be ok right?)

Thought I’d make a nice dip to have with some crudités. Anyone have a nice fresh recipe using simple ingredients?

I like Sabrina Ghayour's recipe for a tahini yogurt dip, it's part of this bigger recipe here:

Tahini Yogurt Sauce

Firstly, yes it'll be fine!
Add fresh parsley and chives finely chopped, possibly a bit of finely chopped raw red onion or even garlic, according to what you like. EV olive oil, salt, pepper.
Chopped or ground up walnuts or hazelnuts are good. Even some pine nuts if you want to pay through the nose!

You don't need much really.
Only thing is ordinary yoghurt is a bit thin, I'd usually use Greek. You could strain it but that is a massive faff. If you do though don't throw the liquid away just chuck it in a soup or casserole. Bit of extra flavour and nutrition.

My favourite is plain yogurt with a teaspoon of mint sauce. You can add chopped cucumber too for a sort of homemade tzaziki it's delicious

Add A large spoon of mango chutney. I used it as a salad dressing too.

I was just about to say the same. It's very tasty and super easy to make.

I never thought of just using mint sauce to do that! What a great idea.

chives, garlic granules, and finely chopped fried onion.

We just grate deseeded cucumber into our natural yogurt, add a tiny bit of salt - slight sprinkle of paprika on top. Makes a really simple tzatziki. I used to add a bit of garlic too but DP wasn’t as keen
