Cakes/bakes to fill up a 14 year old

DS1 is always hungry. He eats well at mealtime but snacks are an issue. They are not healthy snacks and it's costing me a fortune.

I've got out of the habit of baking but would like the get back into it.

I made a few apple cakes in the autumn and put them in the freezer, and they worked well as something not exactly healthy but better than hobnobs.

He doesn't like humus, any fruit really or cucumber. He will eat raw pepper.

I thought maybe carrot cake? Or some other similar loaded things?
