How to use up soft flapjack?

DS2 loved a particular brand of white chocolate covered flapjack. Food supplies can be erratic for specific brands etc here so i bought a load when they came back in stock. He no longer likes them. I don’t eat them (too sweet for me). What can i do to use them up rather than throw them out? They’re soft, sweet, dense. I’ve got at least 1kg worth. Am considering adding some to blender muffins but i don’t think i can get more than one per batch without making the texture too heavy. What else can i do?

If they are still in date could you donate to a food bank?

Use it as a crumble topping.

Crumble it over icecream.

Crumble it up and bake it until crisp, then mix with dries fruits and nuts to make granola.

Could you crumble and lightly toast/bake a handful in the oven and use as a dessert topping? They sound delicious 🤤

Use as a crumble topping
Crumb and crisp up in oven as granola
Send to school for cake bake/summer fair
Donate to food bank

Mix in with digestives for cheesecake base?

Or donate to me?

They've just gone past their best before date - they sat around for 2 months because I was hoping DS would change his mind again.

Yesterday I used most of one instead of part of the oats /sugar in blender oat muffins and that went down ok. (Ate the other part of it alone but too sweet for me)

Will try some in a crumble this evening

Cheesecake base is a good idea. Would have been best at the food bank but I didn't realise how short dated they were

Freeze them. I freeze batches of flapjacks and they last years!

I don't need them to last longer, I just need to get them used! I'm averse to food waste but we aren't eating them as is...
