Favourite picnic recipes?

Just that, really. Looking for new ideas.

A boring but good one, I make sausage rolls. SO much nicer than shop bought ones

Lemon, garlic and herb chicken skewers
Crudités and homemade dips.
And if you ask the family they will say homemade cheese straws.
Waitrose sugar free ginger beer!

If its a posh picnic with plates and cutlery then that's a whole different ball game, but coronation chicken, Moroccan jewelled cous cous salad, water melon, cucumber and mint salad, homemade apple slaw would all feature.

@Fivemoreminutes1 thank you for posting the link to the my fussy eater site! With an autistic 8 year old, and a hard work 3 year old who's just been found to have low iron, food is a struggle. I'm going to try some of their recipes 🙂
