For dinner. They're marinaded in a spicy plum sauce and then grilled (can I bake them rather do you think?? Our grill is rather lame....)

I would bake then but then i'm very anal about making sure that chicken is cooked all the way thru. What about rice of some sort??

Despairing · 19/02/2008 14:31

Baking is probably better, I would imagine, as the chicken will cook through better. What about a barbecue style meal - with baked potato wedges, corn on the cob and ranch salad? Or more Oriental style - steamed rice and salad or stir-fried veg?

Couscous? Spicy rice?

yes bake, put foil over for first 15mins or so, they'll steam a bit and be less likely to dry out.

rice with peas and onions in

Cut your pots into wedges, par boil, put into your roasting tin, dribble with olive oil, sprinkling of salt and maybe some chilli powder or cayenne pepper?

Give a good shake and bung in the oven.

PutThatInYourPipeandSmokeIt · 19/02/2008 15:24

Brill thanks - how long roughly will they take to roast? I presume at 180 degrees (medium)?
