Just me, DH and DD, want to do a special day at home with good food and drink. Willing to splash out, but struggling for ideas.

Thanks for the ideas, I hadn't thought of Lobster, I love it and not something we would usually do. I had thought of a chateaubriand with all the trimmings a bit like the James Martin. Lobster, fish platter for starters?

Seafood platter with Champagne for lunch.

Eggs Royale for breakfast, or perhaps cheese & charcuterie?

Veal escallops and asparagus with hollandaise sauce for dinner.

If you want a bit less effort but great food check out Cote At Home. Great food and very generous. If none of the meals appeal they have an excellent butcher, cheese shop and wine. We discovered this during lock down and have used it for special occasions since. coteathome.co.uk/

Seem to have lost my last post. Thinking croissants and pastry plus maybe bucks fizz for breakfast. Seafood platter for lunch/starters, not really into veal so maybe Chateaubriand still for main. Must be cake, thinking black forest gateau DD will make it I hope.
