What would you serve? My list so far consists of beer, prosecco and red wine, and cake.

Sounds perfect already!

Last garden party I had I did a side of salmon, a slow roasted lamb shoulder and then flatbreads, salads, dips etc. Depends on if you’re sitting to eat or not.

Pimms is a must surely?

Xiaoxiong · 03/05/2023 08:30

How many people, and will you have tables?

AdaColeman · 03/05/2023 08:33

Pimms is essential.
Strawberries and cream or Eton Mess?

Baked ham, salmon, roast chicken, roast beef?
Or perhaps sushi, dim sum, Indian snacks eg samosas, pakoras?

Are you going to have a sit down meal, or a casual buffet, how many guests are you catering for?

I'm sorry there seems to be a duplicate thread! Approx 20 people including kids, space to sit and eat

Are you looking for snacks or a whole meal?

Xiaoxiong · 03/05/2023 13:46

Ah sounds similar to what I'm doing on Saturday for the coronation. We're doing:

  • Pimms, fizz, tea and coffee in hot flasks
  • Roast chicken legs and thighs, served at room temp
  • Multiple kinds of quiche and a raised picnic pie
  • Cheese board
  • Picallili, cornichons and pickled onions
  • Fruit salad
  • jam jar prawn cocktails
  • cherry tomato, mozzarella pearls and basil salad
  • pasta salad with rocket, peas and pesto
