Fab - she worked it out by trial & error

Teaching your children to cook is vital imo

DD does scrambled/poached/boiled eggs
Pasta with cheese (& veggies - if she is in the mood)
Fairy cakes
Biscuits
Beans on toast
Chicken nuggets

My life is getting easier shame she is going to be a teenager in 3 yrs - it'll be hell them

I agree Katy, you have to train them gradually. My DD is 9 and gets the breakfast sorted for her and DS who is 6. DS can help me put together a lasagne, they both make pizzas and cakes and I just do the oven bit. I said to DS the other day as he was helping me that when he goes to college or whatever he will be very popular if he can knock up a tasty dinner himself, especially on the cheap!!

My 40th is on Mother's Day... double whammy! I expect I will be getting toast and marmite and OJ for breakfast - I've heard them planning it! FAB
