Would you serve Coronation chicken with Caesar salad?🤔

As part of a buffet with lots of things, probably yes.

But not as a stand-alone meal, they’re very different sets of flavours. I can’t quite see anchovies + fruity coronation chicken working well.

I might do a (vaguely) Indian flavoured salad of cucumber, tomatoes and cumin in the dressing.

Or make it a chicken Caesar salad.

Yes, chicken Caesar salad instead of coronation salad is a good idea, although I make a mean coronation salad!

I wouldn't mix the two. Coronation chicken with a rice salad and maybe a tomato salad, yes - or just crisp lettuce

Yes, that's how I usually serve it with crusty bread and plain salad.

I don't think it would work well together with Caesar salad, but would go well with a cucumber and red pepper rice salad, or even a fruity cous-cous.

It's in my old scrapbook, hope you can zoom in ok.
Just be aware the sauce part makes double the quantity you need for one chicken, the recipe tells you to use half and freeze the remainder for some reason!

You also end up with excellent chicken stock after boiling the chicken.

I made the Felicity Cloake one for a community jubilee party last year and there was literally not a scrap left and I got asked over and over for the recipe
