Looking for ideas for easy party good that can be made ahead. The party is 2.30pm onwards so more finger food ideas. There is a mix of adults and children for a 5th birthday party for about 25 people.

Current list is

Veggies and hummus
Fruit- grapes maybe melon
Pineapple and cheese sticks
Basil/tomato/mozerella sticks
Gluten free mini sausages
Crisps and salsa
Devilled eggs
Popcorn
Possibly a meat/cheese board with gluten free crackers
Birthday cake

Ideal things that can be made that morning and pulled out of the fridge when people arrive. Debating a pasta/rice dish to add something a little more filling

What about mini jacket potatoes? Boil new potatoes night before then just chuck in oven with a slice of cheese in each for 20 min?

Sounds good. One warning - although most decent quality sausages are gluten free it's rare to find (ready to eat) cocktail sausages that are. I've attached a picture of the ones sold in Marks and Spencer that are GF.

Also, if you're catering for both coeliacs and non coealiacs, some GF isn't actually that nice! I would avoid GF crackers - they are pretty much all dry and tasteless if you're used to normal crackers. I also find cold cooked GF pasta isn't very nice.

With crisps, just need to check the packets carefully as some of the major brands are 'may contain gluten' including Walkers. I've attached a picture of some of our favourite GF snacks. The Proper lentil chips are delicious and great for dips!

I love the sound of your menu, but I think it is rather sophisticated for 5 year olds, or are you catering for adults as well?

Veggies and hummus - will many 5 year olds eat this?
Fruit- grapes maybe melon
Pineapple and cheese sticks
Basil/tomato/mozerella sticks
Gluten free mini sausages
Crisps and salsa - I suspect only the crisps will get eaten
Devilled eggs - I doubt that these will get eaten by 5 year olds
Popcorn
Possibly a meat/cheese board with gluten free crackers - again I doubt that 5 year olds would want a cheeseboard. There will be cubes of cheese with the pineapple. Maybe just put some cubes of cheese out without pineapple, and some slices of ham?
Birthday cake

I have been gluten free for over 10 years so there are a few brands of crackers etc that we like. There are also other coeliac coming. I plan to get the frozen mini sausages from tesco we trialed them last week and my kids ate them!

Out of the roughly 25 only 11 are children however my kids love hummus, salsa and fancy cheese boards 😄🙃

Sounds perfect then.

There's sesame in hummus, which some nut allergic people are allergic to.

Vietnamese summer rolls. Easier than you'd think and lots of you tube videos on how to roll them. I love vegan ones, although I eat meat. I generally put the ingredients in a bowl and mix up before adding the wraps to save time.

I'd normally serve with a simply satay sauce, but as its nut free, try a Vietnamese dipping sauce.😋

Hummus is hoovered up by the children in my family.
