What would you do with leftover pomegranate seeds?

I made a tabbouleh with half of them, which I still have leftover but I’m a bit low on inspiration for how to use up the rest. Does anyone have any ideas?

Yes. By the handful.

In fizzy water with mint and lemon to make pretty mocktails.

on top of hummus or Moutabal

on top of panacotta or moulebeh ( not sure how to spell that - Lebanese milk putting with orange flower and pistachio )

Ooh, I hadn’t realised they froze. I assumed they’d turn to mush when they defrosted.

On top on hummus is also appealing (except for the fact I’ll need to go out and get some chickpeas!).

What are left over pomegranate seeds? 😁

TheChosenTwo · 17/04/2023 18:19

I put them in a tabbouleh too and gave the rest to my chickens! They gratefully gobbled them up pronto 😂
I put a little pot in with ds’s packed lunch too but generally I don’t put fruit in with my savoury food so no ideas other than to just decant into a bowl and eat it!

I sprinkle them on any salad that looks a bit boring! Or on top of rice.

NewToRenting · 17/04/2023 19:34

I've never tried it but if you have a juicer attachment in your blender or food processor, you could juice them. Alternatively eat them!

jelly79 · 17/04/2023 21:39

Add to cous cous with lemon and mint

Believe it or not they freeze well. I can’t bear using half a pack so that’s what I do

TeeBee · 17/04/2023 21:49

Freeze them in ice cubes to pop into a gin and tonic.

Fantina · 18/04/2023 13:18

Chuck them into porridge

butterflycatcher · 18/04/2023 22:39

I enjoy eating them mixed in with Greek yoghurt

Knnniggets · 18/04/2023 23:08

Stick a couple into some soil and see if it sprouts. I’ve got 2 little plants so far 🤷‍♀️.
