Lambs' hearts

Anyone know of a supermarket that sells them ? Waitrose used to sell them frozen, but seem to have stopped.

PLEASE don't tell me to go to "my local butcher" - no such thing here.
Nearest butcher is 8-9 miles away, accessible only by car.

My tesco does

Morrisons often have more unusual cuts of meat.

Tesco. About £3 for two.

What do you do with them?
I've seen them in Tesco

Only ever got them when buying half a lamb.

Stuffed lambs hearts. I've got a recipe in a Yorkshire WI recipe book from around 1960. My local Tesco doesn't sell them though, must have a look in Morrisons.

Haven't had lambs hearts in years. They are delicious.

Morrisons, but you have to be lucky as sometimes they are on the shelf and sometimes not

Stuff em and wrap them in bacon.

My local Tesco Superstore has got them.

Do you have any Asian supermarkets in your area. They often have a wider range of more unusual cuts of meat.

There's a Morrisons not far away, I'll try there.
I make an annual pilgrimage to a Chinese supermarket, I'll look there as well next time I visit.

It's so difficult to get offal. I can source liver & kidneys , but I've not seen brains or sweetbreads for years.

Even if you have a local butcher, these days they tend not to have much beyond the usual steaks, chops and mince. If you want anything odd you usually have to order it in advance.

Morrisons is definitely the best supermarket for offal.
